Saturday morning

It is eary in the morning, time to go to work. I have been sewing since I was 16, trying different things, but about 3 years ago, fell in love with quilting. I am self taught, so still learning a lot.
It it so wonderful to complete a quilt from start to finish, I just love it.
I finished a quilt for my mom and stepfather for Christmas. It was a pattern from Eleanor Burns. I love her way of quilting. will post a pic soon. Earlier this last year, I completed a quilt for son and bride with one of Bonnie's patterns, Jared takes a wife. They were both beautiful quilts.
So, this new mystery for New Year's on Bonnie's site, www.quiltville.com, is now the newest of my quilting projects. I also have ordered some fabric from Connecting Threads to make a flying geese quilt for my dad. Can't wait for these to come in. With the holidays, it won't be in until Monday. What a bummer, but you can better believe on Monday, I will surely be waiting for that package. I just love fabric, the touch, the feel, the smell. Just being around fabric calms me! How weird is that! Do you feel the same. Let me know.
Well, really have to get to work. The good thing is, it's Saturday, YEAH!....lots of sewing tonight and tomorrow. Wishing you a wonderful day,.........Cindy
